Comments : Craven animal Hospital has never disappointed me in the years I have had my dogs taken here. Unfortunately my first experience with Dr. Greenlaw led to my dog's euthanasia, but his bedside manner and his honesty about my dog's condition was much appreciated during that hard time. There is truly a great, caring staff here.

Comments : I took my cat, Lazy, for what I thought would be a routine exam with possible x-ray because she had jumped down from a counter and was in pain. I was aware that she had arthritis. Dr. Stacey discovered a cancerous growth in her neck upon examining her and it was decided that the best course of action would be to let her go. I sat with her the whole time before she was pronounced dead. Tears came very quickly and lasted quite a while. I had had her 10 years and known her 4 before that. She was 17 1/2 when she passed away - Nov. 17, 2017. I haven't gotten another pet yet, but feel I am ready to do so now. I will pick up with Dr. Stacey again when I have adopted another cat. She is really concerned about the pets. The staff showed such compassion during this process that I would highly recommend CAH.

Comments : Thank you for sharing your expertise, for providing options, for demonstrating care and compassion, and for collaborating on the best possible outcome for Tuxy. You have a great team there at CAH, and I'm thankful to have been referred to you this week. Special gratitude for Dr. Greenlaw, whose explanations and manner and empathy all made these difficult days a little easier.

Comments : I just moved to New Bern and my boxer was due for shots. The Doctor and Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I had been a client for years. The exam was very detailed and I appreciated them explaining everything to me. I so happy that I have made the right decision for my new Vet! Thank you

Comments : We have been taking our pets here for almost 7 years and have been consistently thrilled with the very friendly and very high caliber service. Dr. Bobbi has twice saved the life of one of our cats. The first time, when he was 2 years old and losing weight steadily, Dr. Bobbi persevered until she had the correct diagnosis, which required a biopsy of a section of his bowel, and initiated the correct course of treatment. Six years later, she removed a carcinoma from his gums with such precision that the oncologist, radiologist and surgeon at The Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary concluded, after a CT scan and visual examination, that he was cancer free and did not need the scheduled prophylactic surgery. We cannot say enough about the levels of skill and caring we encounter from all the staff at Craven Animal Hospital and will always take our pets there, because they ensure that they are always in the best health and condition.

Comments : Thanksgiving day we found a cute young dog abandoned near our home. He was in bad shape so we took him to Craven Animal Hospital the following day. Everyone there was really caring and gentle with the little guy. We took Maverick to Craven Animal Hospital because of a very good experience with our grand puppy. Our Sable was diagnosed with lymphoma and was only given 3 to 4 weeks to live. She lived for 9 months mainly due to the care, treatment and guidance we received from CAH.
